jan invited me

to join her and tom
when they went in today to
see the oncologist.

she is no longer in remission.
her numbers are high, and
they are starting her on a
potent medicine daily. also,
the doctor didn't realize jan had
an identical twin sister. they
can use me, if needed, for a second
bone marrow transplant.

tom returned to his executive
office, and i drove jan and me
home. we crawled into bed,
side by side, for the rest of
the day. shell-shocked.
holding hands. crying ourselves
to sleep.

"energize the limp hands.
strengthen the rubbery knees.
tell feaful souls,
"courage! take heart!
God is here, right here,
on His way to put things right.
and redress all wrongs.
He's on His way! He'll save
you." isaiah 35

jan and i have always
been together. shared
the womb and since.
please pray for our family.
especially jan. i dearly
love you all.

  1. Lord, our Great Physician, Amazing Redeemer, We pray that you will embrace these 2 precious sisters and touch Jan with your healing hands of love and grace. Encourage them and fill them to overflowing with your abundant hope and promises. May they find peace, love, laughter and joy amidst the tears. Help them to walk by faith and not by site- we ask for a miracle Lord, one that you alone can perform, Mighty Father. Smile down on these faithful servants who love you. In their lives Lord, be glorified, In Jesus name, Amen

  3. I too shared the womb with a sister...there is no stronger bond than "twindom." We too often share the same bed when I spend the night at my twins house... When she hurts, you hurt; when you hurt, she hurts...Lord have mercy, I hear your worry, your pain, and so does He.

  5. Thinking of you all today and praying. Guess what? :)
The other day i was feeling so bad about just doing nothing for God , you know , dwelling on my own stuff and i was out in front of where i live. This young man came up and asked for a light and he had no place to live and i told him of a place that may be hiring and i got to tell him about Jesus! Totally awesome! his name is Tristan so if u would please pray for him. You are right, we are all so lost..........i wonder where the idea comes from that if you are a christian you aren't lost anymore..... you can still be saved and lost in different ways and things..........wow, i just realized that.......where have i been? You know, i am A- blood type and if you ever needed help for Jan (i don't know what blood type you all are) but, hey, i would do it in a heart beat! I just want you to know that because of you and just the loving way you are to people, i have learned so much from you and i am willing to help if needed.................Love you guys......................
